The Everton Board Thread

Yeah that was kind of my point, is she actually as highly regarded as Bill likes to make out? I don't deny she did good stuff with EITC but that is a total different ball game.
Rumours that she and kenwright are constantly on the phone, as it was put when i heard it, they are in there own little bubble, ho your doing a great job ect.
That bears no reality to anyone outside of the said bubble .

7 years on and he could of done that at any point, but he decided not too do so, happy to bin managers off, but go no further. Zero chance he will ever recruit competent people, not now, not too this mess. Also make some money back, I hope he loses as much as he can, he deserves it
So what role does your hero kenwright serve? As he has been on the board for 7 years as well hes been involved in the decision making and is complicit for the current woeful state of the club, if he's just a passenger and has no influence on club affairs why is he still on the board? Either way Kenwright's a detriment to the club. Yes Moshiri is also culpable but who brought Moshiri in? Also if he is savvy as you believe why didn't guide Moshiri in the correct path of running a football club?

Don't want to drag the stadium thread down with misery, as it's giving a lot of supporters some positivity in all this mess, but I was wondering whether anybody has any realistic idea of what will happen with the stadium funding/ownership if we are relegated.

Given I honestly believe we will all be resigned to relegation by end of March/mid April (just my own opinion), I find my self thinking more about whether we will actually see the board changed or club sold and other possible repercussions such as mass clearout of players and influx of youth to the first team squad.

However more precisely I wonder what are the likely outcomes around the stadium, whether it's with current board/owner or new ones.

There's plenty of posters with actual detailed input in this thread and the stadium thread, and I was hoping some might have some thoughts on this

Kenwright out out out

Agree with most of that but the last sentence. Without him and had Bill remained searching 24/7 we would have already gone down and BMD would be a pipe dream.
I'd glady see the back of him for what he has done though, but as the club belongs to him, like it or not, we'd struggle to remove this absent owner until we either fold or recover long enough to be in the new stadium, all be it he looks desperate for funds.
Him selling a minority stake to someone like MSP is possibly the start of him selling up completely. That would be a best case scenario, get an MSP on board with some genuine knowhow on how to run a football club, get BK and DBB out of the club for good, finish the stadium and then sell up.

It's the hope that kills you.. Seriously beginning to think it's our only chance, if they buy in and get rid of the gross incompetence that is our board, that would be a great start.

The mistake fans continually make is to make things personal.

There's no need to do so, it just undermines your/fans validity.

I'm of the view there will be a sale, or minority investment which comes with a board 'reshuffle'. I think they current custodians of the club would be very wrong if they think a board reshuffle would satisfy fan demand to remove the existing board - that relationship is gone beyond repair now.
