The Everton Board Thread

No reinforcements in January was always going to catch up with us.

Hang your heads in shame.
I can see how they could make a case for the lack of activity in January, in view of what has come to light in the past couple of weeks. The summer, however, was a different matter,we brought in Maupay, Mcneill and Onana for about 70 million and yet we never signed the one thing everyone knew we needed above all, a centre forward. Now I really rate Onana, I think McNeill is a good squad player who is a lovely striker of the ball and Maupay, well the least said about him the better.

The point is, we should have signed a centre forward first and then taken stock and decided what budget we had left for other signings. Still, 'Big Kev' doing bits'. This board and DOF will probably take us down and Moshiri is no better for allowing it to happen.

I couldn’t make the online fan meet up on Thursday to discuss ideas going forward, I’ve seen tweets saying it was recorded and it would be out by Friday, anyone here know what’s going on with it? The last one wasn’t released to listen to either.

I'm hoping it's 25% now with a clear option for more once the stadium is done. In an ideal world we need them to own us but there is no chance Moshiri goes until its complete.
What I do like about these guys is I think they will have a better chance of keeping Moshiri under control then the current board.
For me it's last chance for Everton, if these guys can't come in and turn us around I can't see much of a future for us
They're reportedly not interested in owning, they're primarily investors and will look for a suitable ROI over a time period of their choosing.

I wouldn't be surprised, if Moshiri decides to cut his loses and bail out if we do go down. He did invest money into the club to be fair.

It's just too bad that he kept Kenwright on, that he kept interfering and meddling in the managers and directors of footballs affairs, and that he wouldn't hire a proper CEO to run the club for him.

I'm convinced there were many serious takeover bids that fell at the first hurdle because Kenwright wanted to retain a high level of control within the club. Moshiri was doomed from the moment he allowed the stench of failure to linger on.

70mil we probably put less than 20mil down as payments and that’s probably the main reason 2 were bought and maupay was obviously a deadline day signing, after we were left with no where to go and basically panicked
