The Everton Board Thread

1. You keep bringing up Moshiri as if it is a defence of the board
2. People are not happy with Moshiri and want him to sell but at least he(not Bill) is delivering a new stadium
3. Getting rid of the majority shareholder involves a sale, getting rid of the board does not
4. Kenwright is an absolute tool of a man that has no grasp whatsoever of what fans think of him and takes no responsibility for the mismanagement
5. Headlockgate did not involve Moshiri
6. Headlockgate did not involve Moshiri
and
7 Headlockgate did not involve Moshiri
There you go, point number 2, so what if he is, it means little on the grand scale of things.
I'd rather be a top 10 club treading water then have a nice stadium in thr championship
As for headlockgate, that also won't relegate us.

O yeah, that's ALL her fault

I never said she held all the responsibility, that's a false dichotomy and you know it.

So please answer me, Is she not responsible for overseeing that situation?

Your pal Bill says as much right here

The Chairman does not run the football club. We have a Chief Executive Officer who does that, as is true with most clubs.

She runs the club according the chairman. Does she not bear responsibility for our financial and sporting performance?

Chairman Bill 🤔 old communist analogies spring to mind…

In truth the statement is just the type of sheer unprofessional ramblings you would expect from someone drunkenly arguing with people on the comments section of an article in a local newspaper rather than a Chairman and board member of a founder member of the Premier League with the stature and history of Everton Football Club.

If this is “fan engagement” in the eyes of the current board, I dread to think how they approach negotiations with investors regarding funding for a multimillion pound stadium. What right minded investors would want to get into bed with these clowns??? The worrying part is that if there are investors actually willing to do business (if it isn’t yet another theatrical performance by Bill - Mr Steelhammer?) then I am concerned of the calibre of who might be coming in…

Good times? Good lord 🙄

It means a lot more than snivelling misguided tone deaf open letters, £1mil/year for nowt but bad decisions on players well past their sell by date and it means a lot more than trying to create a narrative that makes the fans out to be rabid scum that attack female board members that gets heard nationally and internationally.
Yea, I'll take Moshiri delivering a stadium over all that

I had those thoughts too.. I honestly thought does he see himself as Chairman Moa!

O she runs the the club, that's interesting as those who constantly blame everything on Kenwright reckon he runs the club.
Sporting performance, she isn't the one who scouts our players, picks our targets, she isn't a DOF, she isn't the one responsible for hiring and firing managers, this is were most of our problems ckme from.
If you think Moshiri hasn’t been going over there heads your kidding yourself

Happy to play in the championship, I see, was it you that just denied Mishiri gets a free pass? You'll get your wish

The Chairman does not run the football club. We have a Chief Executive Officer who does that, as is true with most clubs. In the eyes of most of the football world, Denise is amongst the best of the best. The truth is she has to be to deal with what every other Premier League club copes with in a hugely competitive environment in addition to the problems that the world has thrown at us over the last three years and, closer to home, in the last year or so.

That's him saying he has nothing to do with the financial or sporting situation and throwing DBB under the bus. He softens it with stadium credit but it's clearly an attempt to distance himself from the ongoing disaster.

For me, the horror of seeing Grant Ingles, our Chief Financial Officer, and Graeme Sharp being attacked is more than difficult to comprehend. Putting your chairman on a bed sheet in a distasteful way is something that, although it hurts, I have to get used to but…Grant and Sharpy?!?! On banners?!?!

This is absolutely pathetic. Absolutely out of touch.

The short window you refer to will, you infer, be helped by the removal of your Board. Have you ever pondered whether your manager and players would agree with that? Whether Frank would have rubbed his hands with glee last year at the thought, rather than rushing to the Directors’ Box to acknowledge where his biggest support had come from? And what about other clubs around us? Are they thinking “the Everton Board has gone… it’s going to be easier for us now!!!”? I’m confident of the answer to each of those questions.

Why would we care that the players and manager don't want the board gone? If my bosses were overpaying me and didn't seem arsed about performance then I'd probably love them as well. A really stupid point he's making here.

Absolutely in tears pissing myself at "The Everton board has gone... It's gonna be easier for us now?"

The ego and delusion in that statement when we are fighting for our lives is absolutely unreal.

Finally, there is one indisputable fact. Your Board cares. It’s not nice going through what we have gone through but it hasn’t stopped the workrate, the desire to grow and improve and the loyalty to this Club and to Evertonians.

Oh great, were getting relegated and financial sanctions but did you here Chairman Mao and his gang of useless bells  care?

If he was honest about that and they did care then they would all resign as none of them are fit for purpose despite how much they care.

Answer the question I asked you pal.

Does she hold any responsibility for our financial and sporting performance?

And you're not going to say a word about her involvement and responsibilities regarding our financial performance?

Minimal responsibility but over all its on Farhad.
If she was that bad she would of been sacked.
She is obviously of worth to the club which is why she is still there
