How is it supposed to imbue our players with confidence and inspire them to play better?
I did not Boo myself at half time on saturday and it was not as bad as made out .. I
do understand though frustration leading fans to Boo .. “Here we go again” was in everybodys heads .. Much better in second half and the place lit up .. thats football and supporting Everton love it or hate it .. I
love it 💙

Been watching the blues since the 70s and we have always booed when we were crap and been amazing when we were good. Never been any different other than today's players are more like celebrities that just want to be worshipped and cannot handle criticism.
Ex. Act. A. Mundo.
Also points to hyper sensitive times. Am getting sick of seeing fans blamed for poor player performances and even losses. Bizarro times

You're your own worst critic. As a fan, I think you know when you're having a stinker and there's no harm in pointing at oneself and emitting a mighty boo. Next time mate, take some acountability and self-vent.

I know this thread is classic bait, but the last time I was in the Gwladys 4-5 years ago it was mainly an older crowd of STH’s who used it as a time to catch up with each other and not pay too much attention to the game and it wasn’t anything remotely like the original tweet is trying to suggest. Same as it’s been every time I’ve been in there.

I still harbour an incredible amount of hate for the guy who used to sit behind me in the Upper Bullens who commentated the entire game to his wife (she wasn’t blind) and would still talk about how good Osman was long after he retired though.

Watch a real support show up on Saturday afternoon. For the first time in their history, the barcodes have actually sold out their Goodison allocation 3 yrs on the trot instead of the usual 3-500 that regularly came. Brilliant support.
Remember being up there a few years back b4 the takeover and they'd given around 8000 tickets away to schools/good causes etc to fill up the ground as they were "so poor to watch" .
Was like bloody Alton Towers outside the ground..

Every fan base is the same. We are all biased towards another. Fans of other clubs feel the same way we do about them. We all hate our players unless they are winning. Some boo some don’t. It’s a wash
