Che was a cold-blooded killer.

Having said that, on my first ever trip to the USA! USA! USA! I was pulled into a room for a good hour at Orlando airport by some overzealous border officer who was most interested in the Cuban stamp in my passport - and whether I was a communist..
I think if they could keep everyone who was not a visiting foreign dignitary of some stripe out (whether that's political, religious, academic, entertainment or other), they would.

I think a number of our fans would turn a willful blind eye if we stacked 11 behind the ball effectively, went Route One every game and nicked seven 1-0 results.

Turning a blind eye to Allardyce would be another matter.
Yes I believe even Allardyce’s mam couldn’t stand the sight of him, when he was about five she sued the hospital where he was born, said they gave her the wrong baby when she was bringing him home.

At least one mind-meltingly wealthy group of folks with absolutely no history of corruption will be happy with that fixture as the final.

Funny how things work out. Especially in a tournament with impeccable officiating.

That wasn't lost on me either. I will say though, I went into the match not really caring who won, I'm not the biggest fan of Messi. Absolutely incredible, just didn't have the resiliency it seems in games when things don't go his way. However, watching the celebrations, I was happy for him.

Another interesting fact I heard in the run up, since like 70, at every WC final both Bayern and Inter have had at least one player in the national sides.

US immigration is probably the least pleasant one I can remember going through TBF

Tell you what that kin egomaniac Infantino was really sticking around like a stale fart at the presentation after handing the trophy over, wasn't he? The man absolutely adores and craves attention.

I’m a huge Messi fan, and genuinely delighted for him - but there has been a funny smell surrounding this tournament since the moment it was announced, and it didn’t go away.

I don’t feel like we’ve had a proper World Cup since Brazil in 2014.

It all gets back to preferences, doesn't it? There are those that would be unsettled by Maradona in a Che shirt with Castro.

Which I suspect you knew, given the volume of alternative Maradona pictures available. Well done, sir.

Maradona, a massive piss head, a massive coke head who failed a drugs test when called back up to the Argentina squad, had links to the Mafia, yet Messi is a baddy. lol

1982. It started with Rummenigge and Bergomi.
