The Final: Argentina v France

Well, at least with Argentina winning that gives Messi a World Cup trophy over Ronaldo. All the Ronaldo bum boys can shut it now.
Since joining United, I have really come to loathe him and all his cry arse attempts for attention.

And at least today puts an end to this World Cup. I don’t know about you lads, but this one felt soulless. I haven’t enjoyed it at all if I’m being honest.
You can see that Messi is playing for Argentina - it means something beyond himself. You can see the relationship he has with the other players.

Ronaldo is about him and him alone. Was it about winning the WC with Portugal, or him being in the limelight? We all know the answer.

Messi has gone up another notch in my eyes.

France completely bottled that half. Really expected a footballing spectacle today with France having a proper go but they’ve had no answer to the snide Argie tactics.

Credit where it’s due though, wonderful second goal worthy of winning a World Cup.

Hahaha this fella is a proper lunatic.

How he’s still afforded a mainstream media platform is beyond me.
Murdoch disciple who came up through the papers, got on TV as a talent show presenter and won Celebrity Apprentice. He somehow played that into Larry King's seat at CNN and failed miserably, but managed to become famous enough to become a TV fixture in the process.

Be good of the French to turn up.

Far from being crowned one of the great international sides of all time by winning back-to-back World Cups, they're actually in danger of holing their legacy under the bow if they take a hammering here - which now looks more likely than not.

That second Argentinian goal was sensational. The penalty a little iffy - but often given. The key will be if the ref does likewise for a similar case in the other box - if the French can actually enter it.

Look at the state of the Portugal team though to be fair, I'd be a selfish [Poor language removed] too with that dross
