Never mind me, do you back ownership that sees our identity diluted to become the red headed step child to Roma's blue eyed boys?

We're going to get rinsed here.
Dave they haven't even taken over yet at least let them implement their vision before being critical, I think there is enough resources to go around both clubs can prosper without a hierarchy being in place

I wasn't one of those people so can't respond to you on that.

Would love to hear your thoughts on what the club should expect vs what is the reality.
We should expect owners who see us as their only consideration and who have the necessary finances to take over the club to back any manager of this football club.

Here's what I'm hearing so far:

- Roma the flagship
- Us to become part of a stable of clubs
- Moneyball

Still, the 'experts' tell us that "these guys are serious business people and we'll be better off in their hands" - and they base that on their 3.5 years of ownership of a soccerball team in Serie A.

WTF has happened to Evertonians that they'll hand a free pass to people proposing that future for us when they've just been through the hell of the Moshiri years?

It seems to me like it's a case of "don't look too close, we might scare them off".

It's madness to me.

I dont trust this lot one bit. They see us in a vulnerable position and they'll take full advantage of us.

oooh... controversial.
I have very little geographical link to the city but it's my ring tone and I cant wait to hear it at BMD.
I wouldnt lose any sleep if I never heard GOT (the song, not the forum) again tho.
The atmosphere only kicks off properly when GOT is blasted out.

Dave unless you are Nostradamus, don't go telling people the future, you have no clue, apart from the morbid desire to depress everyone with you're ultra pessimistic views. Take caution yes, but you do realise we are going to the wall if this situation with Moshiri continues right ? There is no 777 to bail us out with payday loans, they are done with, which is a good thing in the medium to long term. Much prefer this takeover to 777, which would have been disasterous for us. Oh and don't forget to tell everyone i supported Moshiri's takeover, while you didnt, you know in case they forgot from yesterday.

Everton are set to receive a “substantial” investment in the club from Daniel Friedkin once his takeover is completed, according to iNews.

The American has agreed on a deal with Farhad Moshiri to buy the Toffees with just an announcement missing (Il Messaggero, 15 June), with confirmation expected imminently.

I really hope they name BMD the “AS Roma Stadia”.

Just for the fume.
