Tbf I'm actually quite shocked at today's news it literally come from nowhere but cba reading it.....however I don't blame them for giving it up based on the 777 partnership with moshiri who's being shown to be a dodgy mofo

If the contract says 777 then to them. If they cease to exist then to an administrator, if the court have made a judgement then the court. 777 problems are not ours unless they hold equity in the club….

All we need is someone who doesn't care where 777 got the money from (to lend to us) to repay them, renegotiate that debt with Friedkin and Friedkin can then finish his purchase of us without looking 'bad' for any involvement with 777. Maybe companies based in America also have their hands tied by any clauses in the 777 loan.

Any non-American would be good, except for Trump, he wouldn't care what anyone thought and if he needed to make up a law to get round any clauses he would. Also, the way his luck is going lately we would probably win the PL & CL in the first 2 seasons he was here.

If it’s debt, we can pay it off against whatever the contract says. If it’s equity we could be on dodgy ground…….

There is a possibility they just wait until after a trial, if the position is a lot weaker, and then make a much lower offer for the outstanding debt.

I would imagine that this has further weakened Moshiri’s negotiation position, so whilst there will be cautious interest in not knowing what the exact issue was for the FG, any new suitor would be thinking they may be able to get us cheaper.
