So basically no where near your fantasy £70 million a season @ForeverBlue92 @PeregrineT

£40 million "boost" on GP. Which is total ca. £56 million a year

Not £70 million "or more"

Let's keep it realistic yeah?

Friedkins will be conservative in what they project and won't be lashing around 64,000 capacity equivalent revenues in their business plan
lol, you really are a fool. I was just using your 50m number for matchday so if you dont believe yourself anymore you are free to apologize to yourself. Lets revisit!

Ticket sales: 23m new number decided by Chairman Damo
Castore sponsorship: 13m
Stadium sponsorhip: 25m
Events: 10m
Food/drink:?
Already thats 71m + whatever increases in food/drink/merchandise/other sponsorships.

Isn't the discussion basically a fantasy football chat about how much extra we will get on all that, and if so wouldn't you need to have the current figures for all that to show how much of a boost we would get if those all were the right figures?

North West cup final gate receipts too. Maybe a Space revival tour with three consecutive nights at BMD supported by Atomic Kitten. Maybe an open air performance of Blood Brothers in a BK tribute evening. All boosts the coffers.

I would imagine the stadium sponsorship will include the shirt sponsorship as well, the deal we have with Stake ends at the end of this season and is reported to be worth £10m a season. If you look at Man City's sponsorship, Etihad pay £50m a season for shirt and stadium sponsorship. Arsenal get £40m a season from Emirates, but their deal is older. Tottenham and Chelsea get £40m and their shirt sponsors and don't even include the stadium sponsorship.

I would expect if we did a joint shirt and stadium sponsorship we would get £50m, particularly if the case around owners sponsoring their own teams is thrown out. City famously do this, but Chelsea are doing it and Newcastle have 4 PIF-owned companies sponsoring them and Leicester are sponsored by their owners through King Power.

The new ground is going to attract lots of the tourists visiting the City. There will be visitors there every day, it is up to the club to make sure there is merchandise there for them to buy.

A few years ago my wife and I took a bus tour around the City landmarks. There were tours passing Anfield but none passing Goodison(I refused to take any with the Anfield option) .
This will not be an issue at the new ground there will be lots of opportunities to make money every day from visitors , footballing and non footballing.

Everton prospective owner Dan Friedkin could inject up to £400million into the club on day one to help pay off the existing lenders if he completes a takeover deal.

That is the view of finance expert Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider it’s unclear whether that financing will be put in as debt or equity and if the American businessman will charge an interest rate

Expert

This doesn’t make sense. Loan repayments don’t go against profit.

Further, the club has been loss making for a number of years and so gets to carry forward these losses to offset against any future taxable profits. So it could be a while before the club has to worry about paying corporation tax.
Interest payments are expenses and are tax deductible. Agree though that it seems very unlikely we would make a taxable profit in the near future.

It is only the increase in sales. Thats why it includes Damo's number for matchday increase, the Castore sponsorship increase(from 7m to 20m), the stadium sponsorship, etc.

Despite claims from the club including Colin Chong. The stadium was STILL not "fully financed". Up to yesterday!

That working capital discussed yesterday is to conclude it

Moshiri has capitulated as he simply was no longer willing to take responsibility for the clubs debt nor has the ability to complete the stadium

Getting R&MF paid off alone is going to be a boost for the club.

How we have been ran is an absolute disaster

Regardless of any claims from Colin Chong that this was all to a "plan". It wasn't. People in the club are misleading people saying it was

Colin Chong specifically mentioned in October 2023 that the stadium financing was to a "plan"

They've made claims multiple times that have been proven to be false.

As for the specific point, it's not going to be possible to prove that the stadium financing is now being completed by Friedkin Group unless either they or the club accounts prove it.

Because Friedkin Group have come in and provided money to complete the financing.

They knew this by making the statements they have. When they made them. Like Donald Trump, they make claims on the basis that they hope people won't find out

I'm led to believe that there was £60 million outstanding in stadium financing that Friedkin Group are now paying to complete the "stadium financing" ...

One thing I do know. I don't trust a word out of Colin Chong's mouth. Terminological inexactitudes.

Confirmation then that Colin Chong did mislead fans and shareholders, the stadium was NOT FULLY FINANCED

Despite denials on here to the fact

Its been admitted now
