I suspect that the Friedkins are doing a lot of work behind the scenes , including being very heavily involved in these negotiations which as others have said is potentially the most important commercial deal in the club's history

TFG will surely have sign off on the naming rights. There is no indication that anything is imminent on that front.

It's a big decision and impacts us over a 10 year period or more. Even more, some people will forever call it Bramley Moore and trying to change the sponsors name after a long period tends not to be a runner either, as the name is too entrenched by then like The Emirates.

I see that 263 posters are not in favour of the takeover.

I can appreciate that some may be put off by being part of a mutli club ownership group but I'd genuinely like to know the other objections to TFG and who they would want instead.

Interest payments are expenses and are tax deductible. Agree though that it seems very unlikely we would make a taxable profit in the near future.

You are, of course, correct but @billypatrick said 'loan repayments' are not tax deductible not 'interest payments'.

This doesn’t make sense. Loan repayments don’t go against profit.

Further, the club has been loss making for a number of years and so gets to carry forward these losses to offset against any future taxable profits. So it could be a while before the club has to worry about paying corporation tax.

I haven't even voted but to be honest I have takeover fatigue, and I am accepting of who is taking us over and will let their actions do the talking till that time I will keep an open mind
