I think it was a nightmare situation all round for most of the Moshiri years. You had the owner, chairman and DoF all pulling in different directions alongside a carousel of managers. A recipe for disaster as it turned out.

TFG should appoint people they trust and let them get on with the job.

Think the jury is very much out on TFG and appointments to the footballing Dept mate. I haven’t been enthused by what they’ve done at Roma on that score. But I’m also open minded.

Much more impressed with their investment and his they have recovered the business. Which in itself allows a margin of error.

I have a lot more faith in TFG to get it right, mate.

There's absolutely no way they could do worse than Moshiri, even if they were intentionally trying to. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah Roma seems a bit of a mess on the footballing front at the minute. Hopefully lessons to be learnt before they take over here.

Just strikes me as a scatter gun approach to appointing managers and at times the profile of player they have recruited lads. The more I’ve dug into it, the less enthused I’ve been on the footballing side.

As I say cant fault them for what they did recovering the club as a business.

But I have a suspicion, the whole quick revolution reboot thing people are assuming, might be a bit over optimistic.

I guess, we can only wait and see, mate.

But, we are LONG overdue for a bit of good luck and karma to come our way, so fingers crossed this time we get it right.

Fingers crossed mate. Right person at the right time and all that. Emery at Villa a case in point.

Agreed mate. I mean seriously?! It can't always be Groundhog Day for us, can it? The narrative has to change at some point.

Think it will be interesting mate, in mitigation I think Serie A is a different profile and market overall, it’s more the scatter gun approach that would alert me, but let’s see.

As I say investment and recovering a business allows a certain margin for error.

Personally not expecting the new broom revolution, wholly.

We’re sure due a bit of luck! ;)

'Dan, Dan, he's the man!
If he can't do it,
No-one can!'

😂 😜

They can run a business that's without question.

I have no doubt we will improve under their stewardship.

What is open to question is the extent to which they can create football success to capitalise on business success.

I'll take two steps forward one step back as long as what is achieved is built upon.
