Tbf it's almost impossible to get planning permission in Rome.Concern is they haven't reached the CL since they bought the club (they were in it regularly before and reached semis in 2018).
They've dined out on the Conference League win but even Fiorentina on lesser budget reached the last 2 finals and Atalanta won the Europa League last season on a much lower budget.
No progress on a much mooted new stadium either. Their ownership there has gone off the rails this year with what would be 3 managerial sackings.
Are Roma fans just upset about the De Rossi sacking or is there something more ?
I thought on the hole they’ve done alright considering the state of the club when they took control of it
It is more an admission that hiring mostly terrible managers means they wont last very long when the inevitable terrible results follow.I mean we’ve had 8 permanent managers in what 8 years under Mosh so replacing managers as soon as they have a poor run isn’t always the solution by our own experience (this not an endorsement of Dyche btw!)
And declining year on year investment in the squad whilst selling your better players. It is more an admission that hiring mostly terrible managers means they wont last very long when the inevitable terrible results follow.
And good for our sanity too.I think our new owners will be good for the club…….
The way the Roma Ultras seem to be after De Rossi was sacked, it be like crashing a full oil tanker into a fireworks factoryRoberto Mancini is in the running for the job, not sure how that would go down with his Lazio connections.
I think our new owners will be good for the club…….
