Again, you don't get to dictate what I post or what views I have.

Bill Kenwright was Chairman since 2004/2005

What has gone on is relevant to the Friedkin takeover as they will need to sort it out

Perhaps, but everybody on this site already knows this and don’t really need to be reminded of it ad nauseam. Most just wish to move on and read any relevant updates on this progress, but that has become almost impossible in here. Davek got thread banned I believe for dominating the conversation, perhaps you should reflect on this…..

The ones barking "Look forward" should reflect on what they're saying. Telling people what they can and can't post.

Not everybody wants to forget what has happened.

Well put it like this. There's no one to drag over the coals/ seek redress for it anymore. Bills gone.

Most of us are well aware Bill started to ruin the club the day he got involved 1989. I've said before it's no coincidence our decline started then and he wouldn't let go. Got lucky with Moyes and was able to bleed to club dry further without the consequences of relegation etc. The club were skint cuz of Bill. Bills financial dealings and permission to still be a large part of the club is why Moshiri /Usmanov never worked out imo but that's on them largely.

As I said, Bills gone, no one there to take it up with anymore, best to leave and move on. TFG will hopefully clear the last vestiges of Bills stink from the club and we can move forward and become a great club again under new ownership with an actual fresh start this time around.

Agree with this. Assuming TFG remove Moshiri and all that goes with it, this can be a great opportunity for the club to reboot and grow. Our recent past history is dragging us into the gutter, it's time to move on.

No but there’s forgetting and moving on, which are two different things aren’t they? Remember the past absolutely as it informs the decisions and considerations you make or factor in, in the future, holding future custodians to account. Just don’t keep bringing it up repeatedly / frequently. People do have a memory longer than a goldfish.

I am sure we did .
Reports at the time said we were considering Rangnick as manager or as DoF.
Also was reported that the DoF option was discarded because Martinez didn’t want to work under a DoF.
Well hardly surprising then (not that I recall that), every time this club seems to make a 50/50 decision we come down on the wrong side of it although seeing what Klopp could do with our budget would have been interesting.

It’s been a constant with Everton and managers .
We have considered appointing Robson and Clough at various points in our history , only to appoint lesser managers.

Yes, if I recall the stories correctly re Robson, we had him signed and sealed, he said he wanted 24 hours to tell the Ipswich board but woke up next day to headlines he was coming to us, so pulled out. The rumour being I think that he blamed loose lips on our Board.

See Roma won again
They did, they were lucky but you need luck I guess. Bit like our game yesterday in many ways.

Commentator said fan animosity focused on Mancini, Cristante, and Pellegrini regarding their fallouts with De Rossi. I couldnt hear any specific booing of them but I guess TFG will be happy if it takes focus off them.

With all that went on, the timing of the takeover agreement being announced for us was a bit unfortunate, from a Roma point of view, to say the least.
