For me, since she died, I felt sad, but wasn’t sure why. I think it’s because of the uncertainty. Even before she died there were countries in the commonwealth wanting to move away from having the queen as head of state, then there are the Scottish, Northern Irish and Welsh wanting to be separate from Britain. This now feels more likely that we will see an end to Britain as a nation and the commonwealth.
Some may say that it’s a good thing, but I feel like it would be like Brexit all over again, creating a worse standard of living, with fewer opportunities for all of us.
You feel sad because we've been inundated by misery and mourning for what seems an eternity.
As for seccession, then these are close relatives who no longer like us as English people. The Qieen herself, and her family, preferred Scotland, or anywhere that wasn't England.
As it is, it isn't working for the vast majority of proles, servants and subjects and this type of 'establishment rule' has well run it's course and needs replacing, all of it.
The 'ceremony' of it all is no different to thousands of years ago in Egypt, Sumer and all monarchical lands.

Disappointed in the choice of music no "dam busters" or "thunderbirds" let alone "Jerusalem and "land of hope and glory" pretty lack lustre considering the band was decent.
Thought they might have gone for a bit of Joy Division - Atrocity Exhibition would fit the bill.

Only catching the odd 5 minutes of it here and there but I'm sure I saw Andrew and Harry not in uniform earlier, I thought it had been agreed they were going to be?

Is that only for the service to come? None of the coverage made reference to it but I didn't expect them to.

Neither are leaders of a regiment any more.

I haven’t watched any of it before the funeral. I don’t watch much live TV anyway, but I don’t subscribe to this idea that we have been inundated with it, yes there have been on 3 or 4 channels, but there are 70 TV channels that are free to air, before you even get into the streaming services and SKY and Virgin.
I am more bothered by the political side of things, that certain people are looking to sow further division and push for a break up of Britain and the commonwealth
