Bristol is the NW of rugby when it comes to producing them. Most chip off elsewhere mind. But with Bristol Rugby in the Prem, shiny new Ashton Gate, and Landowns Billions behind them, lets hope they make a fist of it.

...i love the Olympics, I'm watching it wall to wall. Diving lads were terrific, I think we're doing well in a few of the sailing events but they're not getting much TV time at the moment. Anything to do with water we seem to be ok at.

Well being an island, we should be really.

I dip in and out. The time difference doesnt help mind. But yeah, I really enjoy it. A few gymnasts are there from a gym in Portishead, which my lad used to go to.

As an ex military man, the repairs the fellas just did to the velodrome track with some gaffer tape, brought some memories back of some fine maintainance I've done over the years.

great stuff in the cycling and not really expected, the 7's boys have done really well to get to the final, tough ask now but a tough tournament to get into the medals, and beating the saffers is always glorious
