Reading new Michael Connelly - Resurrection Walk. This is a joint Haller/Bosch book.

Connelly has introduced new protagonists along the way and now they all communicate quite regularly. It's become a bit cosy to be honest.

Having said that the narrative is so fluid and well constructed the story sucks you in and pretty soon the forces of law and order are getting a showing up.

Been reading him for approx 20 years. Love them all even if they are the literary equivalent of going for a McDonalds! Cheap and easy
