Vim you need locking up for that mate.

You'll eat that, but no pineapple on pizza.

I'll gladly serve my sentence in defence of this wonderful delicacy, and i'll reiterate my deep felt horror that anyone could even contemplate dabling with the demonic fruit that is the pineapple.

peanut butter is straight from the devil's arse vim, and to ruin a hot crumpet with loads of butter soaked into it well i don't know what to say. a pikelet by the way is one of those scotch pancakes, those little one's you know 'cos batter is sooooo expensive up there they have to save it all for their chocolate bars.
now talking about baps, it all depends what you put on it and what kind of bap, if we're talking about a good wedge of lancashire with a bit of picallili then i'd go the crusty cob, for a chip barm or even pastie barm for that matter then a nice soft flowery bap, but for a bacon and egg then the oven bottom, or even one of them huge buggers that can take a full english.
as for english muffins they are great for burgers, much better than those burger buns with the seeds and aero bread.
potato cakes rule as far as i am concerned and my little lad (125ml bottle) just loves those big sheldons ones, as everyone seemed to love them on my potato cake thread then they should be tops, everyone was unanimous and i reckon they could be the solution to the worlds conflicts, just sit them all down with a big tray of potato cakes, take a goodness vote and then say see you can agree, now about all this nonsense...it's all abit playground isn't it.
i think they should sell em at 1/2 time......think of the queue!!

they have yet to graduate from the university of life.
they must have them in the states , surely the irish there eat them, and they must in oz and i'm sure they did in nz.

potato croquettes are another good use for mash....top fodder !!

They don't have potato cakes out here. I have a recipe though to satisfy my cravings though (y)

Nowt wrong with butter on a crumpet IMO. Peanut butter is beautiful stuff (loads of protein), but has no place on a crumpet/potato cake!
