The issue regarding Martinez posts in the Everton only forum

Can I make a suggestion to GOT and admin? Can a reminder be made that there is a dedicated thread in the World Football forum for any discussion of Roberto Martinez, and that discussion of him and his time here and current position should be restricted to it?

I'm as much a sinner in the above respect (posting still about Martinez in that Everton forum), but the man is gone now and although reference to past managers in a casual way can sometimes be unavoidable, I think the last manager casts a huge shadow over the Everton forum still and his time at the club seems to be the only reason some people post in there in order to rake over the past rather than look at the present and future.

That's a thread for Martinez' Belgium. Just like we have one for Moyes' Sunderland.

Of course, fans will reference the previous manager of Everton in the Everton forum. A current example based on Koeman's press conference today could be the comparison to set play approaches.

I agree, I said right off in the OP that it's very difficult to filter out past manager talk.

I was talking about when the discussion becomes post after post of Martinez regardless of any other manager - no comparison just cheap shots from both myself and others. That's why I think the Martinez Belgium one was linked for the purpose of taking it up in there. It's the same with the Sunderland Moyes thread: thats become a general repository for all things Moyes not just Sunderland.
