First off - he's not the captain so why does he feel the need to give his tuppenceworth about ANYTHING?
Second - and relatedly - he shows there that he doesn't accept Capello's decision to take the captaincy off him. How that goes down with other team mates I dont know. Not too good I wouldn't think.
Third - his briefing that there'd be a meeting to discuss what's gone wrong undermines the manager.
I see he's rowing back in a panic today, though. Obviously he knows he's been outmanoeuvred and stands as the man to carry the can for creating unrest if England go out tomorrow.
He's about as principled as an alley cat.
Nailed it there. He certainly doesn't make England proud, or does he?
A prize tool of epic proportions: A grown man who cries buckets in public over football matters, like losing a CL Final and getting the arm band taken off him; cries like a ******* baby over getting arrested for assault; mocks American tourists over 9/11; carrying on with his ex-team mates bird.
John Terry, leader of men.

Dont get me wrong, I really dont like the guy but I dont see much in this at all.
He was selected by the players to do this press conference and was quite open but didnt really say a lot.
'Should Joe Cole be in the Side' "Well Joes a quality player and change a game like only a few players can..."
'Do you have a problem with the manager' "No the players are right behind the manager..."
etc etc
If the press didnt make such a big deal of this neither would we- its been blown out of all proportion and I dont think there is much in it personally.
The actual press conference is just over 14 minutes long. A lot has been cut out of that edit.
