people living in 2 up 2 downs in proper working class areas, taking home 1400 a month with 900 of that going on rent, paying ridiculous amounts of money to put their parents in care homes loving the royals I just physically cant understand how and why [Poor language removed] madness

That's what I take home and I split the rent with my boyfriend paying 500 each. I am like three pay grades off the bottom one.

With my parents, I cannot care less about them and are not my responsibility seeing how they disowned me for being gay, so someone else can chuck them in a care home.

I count myself quite lucky because of this, but not many of those taking home 1,400 a month are in my situation and are in the one you explained. As for loving the Royals, it's utterly insane and madness like you say

Loving my Facebook feed. It is all out war on there. Best two camps are:

a) those who start posts with "I'm no royalist, but the negativity is out of order..." before banging on about how good the royals are and how proud to be British they are. Anyone else is clearly al qaeda.

b) those who say stuff like "I don't care about the royals..." before starting on a 3000 word essay and a 5 hr thread war.

I want to bottle it and drink it. So much salty goodness. Maybe pipe it into GOT resevoir on match day for added angst.

Other than laughing at folk tearing strips off one another, done my level best to ignore it.

What is the fairly affordable commodity that allows the user to do about a thousand different things at their fingertips being provided by the Royal Family though? It's more challenging to do modern life without a smart phone, but most countries get by without a monarchy.
