I'm going burnt orange.... that will be the official marketing line. The sponsor will be delighted to have their corporate colour, the fans campaigning for a black watch kit will be happy and it will be just a shade enough away from red to avoid being too controversial.

Wasn't even a goalie, just had to have it. I had fashion sense back then.

Had padding in the elbows, helped when diving on concrete.

For me I don’t care. If the team ran out in Mickey Mouse costumes but gave 100% and won a reasonable amount of games to be competitive that would do for me.

I think that design would be great. They don't have a monopoly on red just like we don't have a monopoly on blue. A football kit is a football kit. Although it doesn't even look red to me, its definitely more orange.

It's not even close to red, that's the funniest thing.

Looking at a high res image now and it's blatant burnt orange. Embroidered crest too, looks tremendous.
