The colour is of "the Black Watch". Crimson and black. That's the inspiration.
What you're actually saying is that it has a sash and that's it.
Literally everyone who has knowledge of the Black Watch saw that kit and immediately thought Black Watch. Every single person.
So saying it's not inspired by it is just ridiculous.
