Yes! First half of the season under Carlo - loved it.

The Dogs of War. Early Joe Royle that was good. Spurs FA Cup Semi-Final when we filled 3 sides of the stadium. I've not really felt great as an Evertonian since Joe Royle left us too early.

Yeah in fairness that felt amazing. Shame we get the odd one day here and there over decades of football. Top 6 teams have more than that in one season.

I consider for "feel good to be a supporter" you need to have enjoyed it for a good while, not just a month or two here and there.

So I'll go back to around 2007 when we were in Europe. Yes we didn't get anywhere or win anything, but those seasons were still fun and I, for the most part, enjoyed watching the team and genuinely liked a lot of the players.

Now I utterly despite almost all of them. If we sold the lot of them and started over I would be absolutely delighted. Alas it can't and won't happen and being an Everton fan will continue to negatively impact our lives for years to come.

Twas a barmy spring evening in a city called Rotterdam. When everything in the world was wonderful cause we knew we would beat everyone they threw against us. Even the RS. Until it all came crashing down apart from another championship and another FA cup.
