the last time it felt good to be an Everton supporter

Day we beat Arsenal 3-0 at home, 2014, under Martinez. I thought we'd win that day. Still knew we'd not get 4th, but that was a good day. Not had anything to feel remotely like that since, though beating Utd 4-0 under Silva was memorable too.

Gee, two standout memories in 8 years. I should be more grateful.

Way this is going beating Burnley 2-1 at home and having the gumption to come from behind will be marked annually.

Probably the build up to the FA cup final against Chelsea. The first season under Martinez was good, however I still think we could of done better. Drawing against West Brom home and away, losing to Palace and Southampton, plus missing countless chances in the derby. The season we got the final, we did everything we could, the Howling derby was fantastic as was beating United at Wembley. Everything since then has been awful.

The Dogs of War. Early Joe Royle that was good. Spurs FA Cup Semi-Final when we filled 3 sides of the stadium. I've not really felt great as an Evertonian since Joe Royle left us too early.
The Joe Royle Everton team was the last one we had, that didn't have in inferiority complex about other clubs. Of course, it was the last Everton team to win a trophy as well sadly.

24 April 1985. The highest point in my Everton life. Better than the actual final because we knew we would win it. Don't know why my text is gone italic btw :)
