Been in bed all day as I can barely move, couldn't sleep because of it either. Might have to go the doctors and get it checked.

Dubai is boss. If he gets in with some Brits it's bosser. May sound daft, but the Brits have some cricket clubs and stuff, try and get involved with those as its a good drink ! I'm sure where he works will point him in the right direction.. And more importantly.. Enjoy YOUR visits !!!!

...cheers pal. He has no trouble making pals and will soon be part of the scene. He plays a bit as well so is hoping to get a game of some sort but not sure how that works out in the heat. Good point about the visits, I'm already going out there with Mrs Eggs in November so it wont be long before I'm in the Saddles with him.

Cricket is all over the area mate. I was offered a very good deal to go and play for a team there back in the day.. They were paying two Pakistani lids loads and they were toilet.
The sandy outfields are funny at first ! I'm sure he will get used to the heat.

I've not had my money through either! Luckily I'd saved up some cash so I was able to pay my deposit without a worry. You have to wait until your attendance is confirmed by your University in order to receive your payments.

Yeah, i realised that we don't get paid just yet when i was looking online before aha.

I had plenty of money from my birthday but not when im on holiday in like a weeks time and don't have a job! Not handy but i guess its got to be done eh. Seen we get that 250 quid off our last installment so that's not so bad.

When i got offered my accommodation though, it was higher than what it should be. My offer said the total was 3,500 but working it out paying all my rent would cost just under 3,000. Do you know whether that goes off something else? I emailed the accommodations office to see where the excess cost is coming from.

...interesting, he played a bit of Cricket for Bootle as a schoolboy but wasn't so good. Funny we were talking about cricket in Dubai last night. He's an IT teacher but coz he plays footy they have asked him to do training sessions of a weekend.

Yeah I see, I get my £250 back as long as I don't break anything hahah!! No idea, worth checking, could be due to heating bills or something has gone up?
