it is down to the Ozone layer and the ulktra violet rays from the sun, so you get the appearance of the atmosphere being blue. Does that help you?

Because half the rumours start from rubbish, and people believing what they read in the newspapers - The Sun being that source of information - not the classiest.

Correct, hence why when you are approaching the stratosphere, our atmosphere appears as a thin blue line.
