One of my dads oldest mates owned one of the pubs for years, so we were always sound in the village.

I also went out with a girl from there for a while, so got to know a lot of people my age at the time through her. We all windsurfed, rather than surfed.

Still mates with a few of them.

Having spent so much time there over the years, I fully understand why some of the locals aren’t keen on the tourists, as some of the tourists are very far up their own arses and can be pretty unpleasant.

My dad still has a place there, but I don’t go anymore, as it’s just too expensive now.
I noticed loads of gingers walking around lol

We doing pictures?

That's up on the headland near the Ty Coch Inn / Golf course near Morfa Nefyn.

Lovely region, really is.

A lad who I’m mates with from around there, fly fishes for very big Bass, at a secret location, on one of the reefs, around there.

He’s recently been on a fishing programme with Robson Green, about fishing in the area, but never took them to all his good spots lol

To be honest it’s not the run of the mill tourist that upsets the locals, it’s the yuppy Cheshire set who think they own the place when they turn up in their Chelsea tractors towing their speedboats and jet skis, parking all over the place, blocking in driveways and generally being obnoxious loud mouthed arseholes… trearddur bay has an even worse problem as it basically becomes Cheshire-on-sea for the summer
Don't hold back lol
