The first post from Esk that has disappointed me...sad day.
Sorry my friend - I know I should do better than this......
Nah, no worries...you gotta' do what you gotta' do. From what Iv'e gleaned here and there from your posts over the years, I think you're pretty damn dedicated, professionally, and I can fully respect that. Gotta' feed the family first. I just have a bad habit of seeing it from my point, 5k miles away, and wondering how anyone could miss a game when they're so "close" compared to me. But that's just not the case...I was out of line. Sorry 'bout that. I wasn't truly disappointed, though...I reserve that for Chico's posts.
Having said that, don't neglect the Old Lady if you can help it....just look at her, she loves you.
No problem! and thanks for your kind words, we all do what we need to do for our families!
I am going up to Goodison for the Aston Villa game next month as it coincides with my 50th Birthday. I must go to more though, and get my kids there too, they've only been to Goodison once and it ranks with all their experiences to date.
Appreciate how frustrating it must be to support the Blues and be thousands of miles away!
Now you're cooking with fire, Happy Eskday!
Yeah, it's the pinnacle of frustration sometimes. Going back a fair few years, before internet streaming and all that, and I used to go on an IRC (internet relay chat) channel and a few Blues over ther would take turns typing/commentating to us while listening from their radio or watching it on the TV. You had to be hardcore to follow that closely from a distance in those days., plus it was grim on the pitch as well. Trying times!

I'd have paid to do that. I'd have them suicidal from five nil twattings every week.
Spot on. But I have struggled with "come on you yellows/whites/greys/ salmon pinks/ weird stripes", over the years
In the Walker and Smith days you wouldn't even have to lie, like.
Your mar said the same thing when i locked her in my cellar.Hahahaha. Oh hang on you've just took me back to a dark dark place.
