Hughes is an absolute stud of a midfielder. Have no doubt if we got our sticky hands on him he'd come here and develop into one of the finest in the league, he's that talented. The problem is I think Barkley will eventually move into a deeper role so getting in Hughes would be a waste of money.
Barkley is talented enough to play in either of the 2 central roles. I've no doubts the 2 of them will be playing in 2 of the 3 central midfield roles for England in 3/4 years time. I'll be gutted if he goes to Liverpool. We'd be the prefect club for him, with the perfect manager to develop him

Fact is if we're getting in hughes then we're making the definitive decision to play barkley as a no10 for the future which isn't what we should do IMO.
