The Media who cover Everton

The whole club needs to grow a pair. Never question any of the negative comments from biased reporting or worst of all the PL and their hand picked referees, var, postponements………

We are badly served by those in the media who cover this club. The Echo coverage is appalling, of course. But we also have a terrible representation of the club by all the writers on the club from the Mail, Mirror, Telegraph, Guardian etc etc. About the only one's they dont go after are the players. The fans, the board, the owners, the managers...all there to be hammered by that lot.

They have the knife out for Everton and they enjoy the thrill of attacking us. They wont be too patient with this incoming manager either. I bet they cant wait for him to lose a few games.

Ok, we have been a basket case in the Moshiri era, but I doubt there's another club in the PL who gets this treatment. I have no idea how they get away with it.

I'm not sure what's to be done, but I just thought I'd throw the issue out there.
Win… that’s all we can do Win the whole F thing

Yes we are badly served by the media, but in the end it’s just their opinions, they’re rarely fact based. Often we are better off reading that well known Opinion Factory called GOT. Individual players have their own threads,Transfers, rumours etc and if you really want good opinions on our young players go to the Youth Thread. Like the Media , just don’t believe everything you read on GOT, apart from that we outdo them ?

Media is full of kopites, the type of story that gets the second most clicks after a piece of kopite propaganda, is a piece savaging Everton.

Club deserves a bit of a battering at the moment.

It's funny how money changes the way journos treat us though - we have a worse team but I'd almost say that we have had better press since Moshiri.

Under Moyes we were always undermined, even though the side was pretty good at one point.

Just like their supporters, totally obsessed with us. Doesn’t matter what they win or achieve, we are constantly rattling around their little, bitter brains.

A raft of articles today with "advice" for Lampard and cataloguing Everton's "dysfunction".

Underneath it all is this single message: "You had the nerve to try and break through the glass ceiling to trouble our top clubs. You failed and we'll now punish you for that. So get back in your box and be who WE want you to be: the plodding, 'hard to beat at Goodison' club of underachievement".

...and that's the attitude from the hacks asigned to cover Everton who all have connections to the club or local journalism originally!

Be under no illusion that - though we are there to be rightly shot at over the enormous waste in resources - the Everton-following media are now on a mission to keep Everton down. The club will be admonished at every stage now.

We're an open goal to each and everyone of them.
