i havent convinced myself about anything - there are males out there who do belive that men and women are equal, that a womans place is not in the home to cook and clean and pander to their needs. (honest its true)

Some modern men stay at home (do the cleaning, cooking and take care of the children) while the women go out to work - some men do that even when they go out to work too,

modern man wouldn't think twice about cooking a meal without being asked, he'd do it quietly without having to shout from the kitchen 'where's the spices kept or is this saucepan ok'.

modern men cry.

modern men are more sensitive to a womans feelings.

They are the ones married to prostitues (somewhat old fashioned view possibly but I am entitled)

If you really must know we are all modern men here by your definitions,

modern men cry - This can be seen on many occasions, Football team playing bad, football team winning trophies, dvd cutting out just as Carmen Electra is about to finish getting naked, these things make us cry, hence, we are modern,

Sensitive to women's needs - we avoid you for 3 weeks in every 4 as you are either on, coming on, or coming off, this act in itself takes high sensitivity, we don't take you to the strip/pole clubs we frequent as we don't you to feel insecure about yourself, once again very thoughtful on our behalf I feel and we don't let you know that even though we are together it was actually your mate we fancied in the first place, hence, we are all dam modern men here.

This is a judgement based on the specifics set out for the initial definition of "The Modern Man"
