The Music of GOT

My latest original track.
Those of you who have listened back to the mix I posted in the Electronic Music Thread a couple of weeks back might oh heard this before.

I wanted to make a track that has a very basic, almost boring melody at its centre, but then build a lush soundscape around it that grows as the track progresses. This is the result.

The track is called 'Pisolero' which is Spanish for Gun Fighter or Gunslinger. No relevance to the tune, like - just thought it sounded cool

Any feedback appreciated ;)

Got some great support and feedback on this track from some friends. Even had a few DJ mates play it out on their streamed sets. Though one big criticism was that most people found the track sounded too 'clean'

So I went completely ham in the other direction and put together this rather filthy acid techno version!

Enjoy!

Musical spam alert (even though this is EXACTLY what this page is for)

Playing with a premade song with new toys, and then USA fell apart, had to be done.

Enjoy

For any one interested how I made this track, I've posted a breakdown on Youtube.

It's a little bit rough, trying to get my mic sounding good is still a work in progress

This is a song my band recorded last year for my Mum's 80th. We only do covers these days, corporates, weddings etc so we did her favourite Hollies song. We've done a few of these songs/videos during lockdown, all recorded and filmed separately. Thankfully we're starting to get some live bookings now, which is great.
