How very dare you!Getting @Ashtonian vibes
The woodworkshop i also have a terrifying 2kW 12" multico table saw with no safety features, a bench sander, a 8" throat bandsaw i converted from 3 phase, a table router and a bobin sander as well as the expected range of power tools. So besides the planer, what else have you furnished your workshop with?
I need to come and play in your workshop. The woodworkshop i also have a terrifying 2kW 12" multico table saw with no safety features, a bench sander, a 8" throat bandsaw i converted from 3 phase, a table router and a bobin sander as well as the expected range of power tools.
In my engineering part (the interesting bit) a 6' long Harrison lathe, a bridgenorth milling machine, a metal cutting bandsaw, a small surface grinder i made from a laboratory glass cutter, as well as mig and brazing equipment and an enormous compressor all currently buried beneath kitchen bound wood.
Most of the kit is stuff I found on fb marketplace that needed repair or restoration which is much of what I do. (The lathe came to me literally like a lego kit with no instructions as somebody had taken it apart to rebuild and then found they couldn't.
Used both the bandsaw and my skillsaw this morning and can still count to ten. Just saying @tommye
Great thread.
