You forgot to lock the bathroom door and mar's walked in on you, knob in one hand, and probably a picture of something nasty in the other.

She screeches: 'You filthy little...!'

And you respond by saying:
'Mar, in point form:
1) I am not an onanist
2) I have never nor will ever engage in onamism
3) I am a proud advocate for celibacy
...

And grinning, thinking to yourself: 'Deliberately ambiguous! Yes! I've totally confused her!'

Wouldn't it be better to say: Yes, I was once a proud Tory, but being a rational person, I reserve the right to change my mind when being presented with new information that alters my perspective, and in saying that, I am no longer a Tory. 🤔

Can I just point out, that in my humble opinion, this is an awful lot of detail for someone who’s not bothered ?
