I dont think anyone needs reminding, 62 people have opted for Moyes, proving Evertonians insatiable appetite for mediocrity.
Some of those are unrealistic. Moyes was our best in over 25 years, no one has been as successful since. Have you seen our last two shortlists, I don’t really want him but in comparison to who else we could attract, I would take him in a shot. Unfortunately our fans are very unrealistic about who we could get.

And Ancelotti proved that just being a big name doesn’t guarantee anything. Except maybe that he will be off in a shot as soon as something better comes along.

Exactly. Any of these "sexy" young "progressive" managers will be off after 12 months if they get results. It's magical thinking.

I think the prospect of a stadium move and new ownership might boost our chances of getting someone decent.
Everton are a bit of a basket case at the moment.
If you come in and dont do well, there's a ready made excuse.
Thats why Dyche was referring to "before i got here" in his presser today, almost 2 years after taking the job.

So you think we hire the likes of Davide Ancelotti in October. He gets great results that gain all sorts of attention, he up and leaves two months in to the new stadium?
The only way I'd see that happening is if RM came calling. And they could I suppose.
