I know it's been done to death but I dont really get the love for Potter.
He did well in Sweden
He did well at BHA but they've clearly shown that their set up is so well organized even an average manager could succeed.
He did a terrible job at Chelsea
We dont have the kind of players or the organized structure he'd need to succeed.
We're basically chelsea without the talent.
Dont see what makes people think he'd succeed at Everton.

Edit. He also got really upset with a few Brighton fans calling him out, he'd last a few months at Everton and that would be that.

potter? he would go to bits the minute he’s booed

and we don’t have and footballers to play his way

Think this is where PSR really puts clubs in their place - a new manager would want new players and only the clubs with revenue can do that within the rules.

So, im not sure fantasising about managers that want to splash the cash is really worth it yet.

Are there good coaches / man managers out there who can get the best out of what we have ?

well said

Of the ones I recognise or know anything about their style I'd go Ancellotti Jr. because his weird set piece set up had commentators and pundits pulling their hair out saying how bad it was while we had one of the best set piece defence records before Benitez ripped it up and went full 2005. DA Not afraid to try new things.

Would be interested in any of the unknown, no prem experience names

For me i would want thomas frank but well no chance, then after that would be looking at coberan, Hjulmand, Conceicao, maybe potter but would have to be conviced

Yeah. If rumors were to be believed, Davide took the majority of coaching sessions.
The players seemed to like him.
The thing about Ancelotti snr was that he could get a team to play as a team but also let players play to their strengts.
Sure the football wasnt the prettiest at times but it was clear he knew what he was working with.
He knew the team needed a player like James and he made sure everyone did their part to accommodate someone like that.
It was the first and last time in donkeys years I enjoyed watching Everton play for a prolonged period.
Sure we played like a bunch of yard dogs at times but magic could happen.
If he's anything like his dad, get him in.

Here we go again

If we're not getting bought by a new owner for a few months, the smart move is to get a temporary manager until the end of the season.

Once the club has been purchased and has a structure in place, we'll be able to attract a higher calibre manager.

Also, we don't want Moshiri making the decision on who our next manager should be.

David Moyes until the end of the season would be a smart move, as much as we all want the higher calibre / statement manager to be hired.
