Chiefs were 10 point faves vs the Texans and a TD vs the Titans. Ain't no magical run. They're winning games they were expected to.

20 years of NFL gambling has taught me that the bet in this super bowl is San Francisco. Physical, run the ball, great pass rush. Getting points against a juggernaut pass-heavy offense that can't stop the run defensively.
However, I gotta admit, Mahomes appears to be perhaps the first guy in a while that is impervious to the usual NFL betting dogma. The Greatest Show on Turf at least had a decent defense and Marshall Faulk. If KC wins the super bowl, it'll come down to the masterclass of Mahomes, bucking the trend.

KC did a pretty good job containing Henry. The Niners don't have a big running back in that mould. I agree the key will be the SF pass rush against Mahomes, but they haven't faced a quarterback as mobile as him in a while.
I'll refer you to the QBs of Baltimore,Seattle(twice) and Arizona(twice). All in the second half of the season.

I sit corrected, he said in his orthopedic underwear. Still, Mahomes poses a major threat and if the KC defence can come up with the same effort as it did against the Titans, he pisses all over Garoppolo.
Read somewhere that five QBs played for both the Chiefs and Niners. Didn’t believe it at first, but then sure enough there’s DeBerg, Montana, Steve Bono, Grbac, and Alex Smith. Crazy
