Stadium is in the middle of no where, tickets are over priced and I heard that it's hot as hell in that stadium during early season games with the sun out.

I'm not a Niners fan, just happened to read an article about it this week.

Yeah it's sweltering when the sun is out i've been there.

Thing is as well the stadium is out of San Francisco it's closer to San Jose. Santa Clara although there are quite a lot of people who live there who support the team they wouldn't be folk who would go to games i would say.

The distance of their stadium is the same distance the chargers fans would have to travel from San Diego to LA to see their team if they still support them.

So you will always lose some fans. The commute is a bit of a mess too. I'm sure @LinekersLegs might have some insight as too that part of the California

I'm honestly shocked by this Saints-Seahawks game.... Are the Seahawks bad? I know the saints have improved defensively, and Teddy Bridgewater is honestly someone worthy of a chance at starting, but 27-7?

It's not just beating them at home, it's destruction at this point.

Seeing Pete Carroll get his nose bust in the warm up by a rogue ball makes me smile.

Can't stand him.

That's basically what the article summed up. They built it in largely a residential area, and it's atleast an hour commute. Probably more if you have a large amount of people leaving a stadium.

Do people from San Diego make that commute? I thought most were so pissed at Spanos they gave up supporting them. San Diego to LA is not a fun drive. Well no drive in LA is fun. I was out there last year and wanted to go to a couple games in the Coliseum but decided it wasn't worth it because of the traffic.

I wanted to see one in Stubhub center too, I doubt anyone will see an NFL game in a venue that small ever again.

I can't either, except i have them +5.5 in a super teaser and my other two teams have already covered. If they're going to lose by 6 or more I hope he gets hit again.

Not as many as the Chargers would make you believe. Their current stadium is always 80% opposition and neutrals each week. When the rent the new stadium from the Rams. Yes rent they do not own it. Its not 50/50 like the NFL wants people to believe also.

Many of those that go to the game are the San Diegan's that moved further north into the inland empire (the desert areas) when San Diego got expensive.

I would say maybe a thousand travel judging by the traffic. It's two hours to Carson on a good day.
