Only been to the stadium once, was fun for a one-off but way too hot for me. Have some hardier friends who have season tickets but even they say the traffic can be horrendous.

I've never been, but I miss candlestick park. Was that where the catch was at?

We should bring back Pat Summerall while we're at it. I know he didn't call that play, but he is hands down the best play by play announcer ever.

Also, on TV they kept saying Frank Gore rocks some real football cleats. I doubt it, but they have a bit of the look. They look light, the ankle cut is low, and pretty tight.

The two years I played football I used to rock my Copa's. I tried the american football cleats, but they're so high cut, big and clunky. It's like a basketball shoe with spikes. Copa's are the cleat for sure. I will say if you're a lineman those cleats are good, but for anyone in skill positions you gotta rock those "soccer" cleats

Yeah it's sweltering when the sun is out i've been there.

Thing is as well the stadium is out of San Francisco it's closer to San Jose. Santa Clara although there are quite a lot of people who live there who support the team they wouldn't be folk who would go to games i would say.

The distance of their stadium is the same distance the chargers fans would have to travel from San Diego to LA to see their team if they still support them.

So you will always lose some fans. The commute is a bit of a mess too. I'm sure @LinekersLegs might have some insight as too that part of the California

Santa Clara is a suburb of the much larger San Jose. 45 miles from San Francisco...a smaller city than San Jose in terms of population.

It's quite fun to rib 9ers fans about it over here.

The wealthy Marin County former season ticket holders ain't too happy that the 9ers whored themselves out to the Silicon Valley AND built a crap stadium that bakes their fans.

Did you see the deadspin article about it?

Nope...I lived there when the stadium was being built/opened. I posted that on the local knowledge angle. Still fun as F to rile up 9ers fans that they should be the San Jose or West and South Bay Area Niners.

I wasn't disagreeing, what you said seemed spot on with the article and all the comments.

So besidee cheese, which I'm a fan of. What's your team?

I like cheese but I hate the effin packers. Their bandwagon fans are annoying as f.

Seahawks. Been with them since expantion in 1976.

I banged on for a decade that Kenny Easley should be in the HOF. He's finally in. Ronnie Lott rates him above himself.

Jacob Green might never make it...but there is interest. He should be in.

Damn you go back to the Kingdome days. I respect that. Back when they were in the AFC, I respect that a lot. I'm glad you got that superbowl.

I will say, Ronnie Lott was one of my idols as a kid. Him and a lesser known Buffalo Bill named Henry Jones.

I was one who actually thought he might be really good before this season. I get a lot of browns games on local tv. I thought he looked better last year. I've seen all three of his games this year and they have been bad.

They were trying to make him out as some star last week on MNF and he generally looked pedestrian. The second half was better, and after tonight I'm not sure what to think of the guy.
That's just the thing. Before the season everyone had hopes for him given last seasons stats.

But if the analysts are ready to put a blanket on his first two games just so they can point out how good he was last season that's rather silly. just so they can make the point on how good he is.

If anyone asks what about the first two weeks they immediately point at last season.

Be a bit like asking for a report on the status of Antonio Brown and the person responding says he looks good based on last year. Or talking about how great Eli Manning is but you keep referring to the years he was successful.

He's been average the first two and now the third game and with a coach like kitchens making horrible play calls that won't change.

They actually numbed their best player trying to make Mayfield succeed tonight. That player being Chubb.

In all due respect, the reason they hired kitchens was because of his chemistry with Mayfield.

He's got two legit wideouts and had a good TE before this week, not even mentioning Chubbs. The guy might be Cleveland, I mean bad.

I shouldn't throw shade, I'm a loser Bills fan lol. But ef you Bakerrr!

Right and i have heard that but chemistry does not equate to being successful. Or even being good as a coach. Guarantee kitchens will be gone either mid season or by the end of the season.

His talent as a coach is clearly lacking. That last drive was bonkers and some of his play calling over the last three games has been woeful. Unless of course Mayfield is running the show because of said chemistry.

As long as he has chemistry though and that's good enough for the fans right?

Great talents at wide receiver sure but to what dividend? Just so they have a highlight reel?

Chubbs was running all over the Rams tonight. Suddenly they abandon giving him the ball. They had three time outs and could have used him. Instead they kept trying to force it to Beckham and Landry for the ultimate money shot. It was ridiculous. Just like that draw play on 4th and 9.

They were NFC first. Probably a trivia question you could win.

That said, the early/mid 80's rivalry with the Broncos and Raiders was good. The Chiefs back then were nothing.

Fast forward through most of the 90'$ where we were terrible, and our owner at the time was looking for a lucrative move to Los Angeles.

Paul Allen saved the Hawks.

We've been decent since. Sometimes great

*sees self banging on about Bam Bam Kam a decade from now
