NFL new rules about helmets. Player safety and all that.

Last season some players were given a year to choose a new helmet to comply (Brady was one).

Brown is wanting the same year to choose.

The NFL and NFLPA eliminated the grace period after last season.

Brown is being a diva.

So it's not that he thinks the new helmet is dangerous or anything?

He chose a replacement which also doesn't comply.

He has filed a second grievance to allow him a year to replace his replacement.

For me he is intentionally being a pain, and knew full well he chose a replacement that was not compliant.

It shouldn't even be a surprise to his new team nor the media who report the NFL that he is like this.

This is a guy who created rifts in the Steelers locker room. This behaviour will finally prove that Tomlin had his hands full with Brown and his group and not big ben. Not that he is a saint.

Mad they had two of the most talented players in bell and brown and both became the biggest issue for them. Kind of ruined their season splitting the team and causing so much hassle.

For me, the AB helmet thing is just a distraction. He messed his feet up in cryotherapy and is now unable to practice. Everyone knows it's his fault but he doesn't do accountability so is using the helmet purely as a deflection so the NFL are seen as the bad guys and therefore the reason he's missed pre season.
