I’ve been thinking about this perhaps too deeply dear magic man and wondering if it would change many blue’s habits? We’ve just had a six week break during a time of traditional football and no doubt blues enjoyed weekends without Everton being central to them, and the result of Everton being central to their mood and impact on others.

First game back Everton do the Everton thing and everyone is fuming. It might be a point where some think they’ve just navigated Everton’s absence easier than they think and perhaps they can do it more?

It's the Everton affirmation.
I've brought my lads up as Evertonians, the eldest, 13, is heavily invested in us, the youngest, 9, not so much, but he 'knows'. I see it as the greatest gift I could give them and the heaviest curse at the same time. I have to 'be there' for them because only I understand the pain and extremely sporadic joy this club offers up. All their mates are city, united or Stoke fans, none of whom nother me.
There is the odd r/s glory hunter but they are swatted off for education purposes.
Truth is it has become 'nea satis cba optimum' these days for me ?
