The No Strong Emotions Not Arsed Really thread

It's a win win now, if we stay up great, if we go down, the hounding out of Kenwright will be biblical.

He should be called out anyway. it’s ridiculous. Any other club and our fans would be laughing at him with what’s happened along with all his quotes over the years.

Whilst it seems precarious now, there’s a month of transfer window to open so I’ll be more concerned if Everton are still doing this stuff in a month’s time. Maybe there’s a Kevin Campbell out there somewhere.
There absolutely is - problem is he’s now 52 and 18 stone. I don’t think he will be able to help (albeit won’t be much worse that our current attackers)

Will the food be nice in the new stadium at least?
It'll be some rubbish generic crap, no way they'll have the balls to put out anything tasty or novel, probably get that useless duffer Tom Davis in a dinner lady hat ladelying some pink semolina over an overdone burger like we're all in chokey.... Everton that:mad:

I'm finally beginning to see why other club's fans laugh at us. I just knew we were going to throw that away yesterday, can read this team like a bad book now. I was reminded how nice it was without the disappointment and fume for 6 weeks.
I watched Forest and Bournemouth today, losing 2-0 away at Chelsea & Utd and getting some half decent attacks going when we can't even push for a win at home against the bottom side, and can't hit a barn door when gilt edged chances drop our way.
Like OP said, I won't base my self worth or entire happiness on this football club. Would hate for us to go down, of course, but they aren't dragging me down with them

Wasn’t the best result for my birthday, but it’s hard to get worked up about a club with no direction. At least in the Moyes/Martinez era, we had the illusion that the cards could fall correctly and we could eventually get Champions League, start attracting better quality players, etc. Now, it just feels a bit like the club’s circling the drain—sure, wins and draws are better than losses, but 2-1 in our favor there wouldn’t change the big picture.

I laughed when Wolves goal went in.

I saw it unfolding as the ball got played around the defence; “we’re going to launch this now and they’ll score on the break, you watch.” Then it happened. All I could do is laugh.

In years gone by I’d have been furious. Nowadays, I’m not bothered. Nothing über-turd surprises me with me this club any more.

Have to admit I haven't been as calm, relaxed and dealing with life as when the world cup was on and Everton weren't..
I’ve been thinking about this perhaps too deeply dear magic man and wondering if it would change many blue’s habits? We’ve just had a six week break during a time of traditional football and no doubt blues enjoyed weekends without Everton being central to them, and the result of Everton being central to their mood and impact on others.

First game back Everton do the Everton thing and everyone is fuming. It might be a point where some think they’ve just navigated Everton’s absence easier than they think and perhaps they can do it more?

I can.

Same.
