Happy memories used to go of that springboard into 10 feet the deep end - the worst thing was when you were about to dive and some one at the back of the cue on the board bounced the board and you ended up doing a belly flop ouchlolDovecot Baths.......or strictly speaking The Harold Davies Public Baths Dovecot......
this is where I first learnt to swim although living miles away it had a good reputation to learn to swim!

Up to the right on that photo was the library (recently closed and sold at auction with seemingly nothing happening to it).
