People often say how ridiculous we all looked in the 70s with our flares and platform shoes etc. Sonetimes I wonder.

Genuine question, what things have you become intolerant too? Like “in my day..”

Mine is kids and young adults absolutely refuse to travel anywhere and demand to be ferried, is it just me? Or are kids just unable to to independently travel anywhere.

That and the permanent phone addiction is really troubling me. Proper matrix stuff that, algorithms and data used as digital crack.

I’m lesss bothered by this as I have rationalised it. Back then the only escape from your family was to learn to drive, or walk to another location. Once Cellphones became ubiquitous you could escape from your family by burying your face in them or communicating with your peers. Were will this go next?
In the UK the right of passage was getting served in a pub, in the US it was getting your drivers lisence, now it’s getting a cellphone…. And the age dropped dramatically.
