Chocolate chewing nuts! A staple of a family Tuesday evening in the 70s when my nan brought a bag of them around. They'd last ages, despite being handed around 6 of us. Bonus when it was your turn if you picked up one connected to a few others.
Made at Williamsons toffee works in Bootle. My aunty worked there and would bring home the rejects, loved them.
