Yes, it will stay with me. Someone shouting the war is over was epic.….that is a brilliant memory. I can imagine that was very much a ‘where were you’ moment.
Weird how they stick in your mind. I remember hearing my Mum talking to a neighbour at the back of Lytton St in Everton about JFK being shot. A lot more recently, heading to a meeting in Leeds on M62 near Brighouse when it came on the radio that Alan Ball had died.
