The Oldies Thread

Went to my brothers 60th at the weekend. Went back to his house for the post party party, first thing I did was put the kettle on and have a cup of tea. Hardcore me. I knew the writing was on the wall when I found myself dancing to the Bay City Rollers, even knowing some of the words. Shangalang!

That reminds me, we need to find the 'Oldies Music Thread' again...... @the esk

or as we sang in the day "sha* a lass"

I must add, I hated the Bay City Rollers as a teenager. More of a prog rock guy, what's become of me?
didn't like them myself lol was into quo, purple, Sabbath etc. there was a lad who went the whole hog, trousers and shirt with tartan hems and cuffs, scarf on the wrist etc. he was a city fan and called his dog asa Hartford.

I remember the days when being a 'Mod' meant you wore a fishtail parka and rode a Scooter, not kept an internet forum in check.

Black Jacks, Murray Mints (too good to hurry mints), and Cadburys dairy milk miniature chocolates from a machine on the wall. Remember letting my girlfriend ride my Chopper, kind of remember there was also a bike by the same name.

Who can forget the TV Series, UFO?
