The Other Clubs January 2015 Transfer Window Thread

Aye I always thought that a big story was going to break about that a year or 2 ago?

Probably heard the same as me. West Ham mate told me that was why Heitinga didnt sign for him.

Perhaps Gold & Sullivan told him to pack it in.

Or maybe it was all tripe.

Delli Alli is going to Spurs apparently, really good prospect, if we didn't have Ross I'd of liked us to get him but they are prob to similar and play the same position.

Problem with this year's transfer deadline day is that 2 of the usual suspects for transfer deadline day frenzies are bowing out this year. The other usual suspect is getting no more money from the chairman.

Arsenal did there business early and sensibly so no last minute trolly dash for Arsene and Spurs blew £100m in the summer and have an expensive stadium to pay for so only outgoings or cheap young prospects.

Twitchy 'Arry is not being allowed to do his drunken sailor routine because QPR are likely to go down, Tony Fernandes rightly doesn't want to be saddled witn another Chris Samba situation in the championship.

The only highlight this year will be Robert Huth. A big average defender that can't even get into the Stoke team. That'll make Sky look so silly with their deadline day over hype crap.

The Cuadrado deal doesn't count,it's been happening since last Monday and Chelsea are just swapping German for Colombian, I don't see him as being an upgrade on Schurrle.

Wilfried Zaha re-joins Palace on a permanent basis for £3m after costing Manure £15m just 2 years ago.

I remember they massively outbid us and the RS/Chavs I forget which and now they've taken a £12m hit, well done Fergie, bet your son did alright from that deal.

Apparently Palace have now taken the announcement of their site...big oops at Selhurst park

@BafGomis: I have decided to stay With Swansea. I wanted to share this With you before the end of the transferts Windows. It's the best choice for me.

Jolly decent of him, bet the Swansea fans are delighted he is condecending to honour his contract that he signed less than six months ago.

Sums him up that. No one came in for his big move like his mate got, (cos he isnt very good), so deigns that he will stay at Swansea.

I would want the idiot out of my club pronto.

It is possible he didn't mean it quite the way I've read it, English isn't his first language after all.

But his other actions since he has joined Swansea seem petulant and arrogant, just looks like he is after a payoff and doesn't care how he gets it. Hasn't impressed me on the pitch either, certainly not the instant success that Michu and Bony were on their arrival.
