Cork/McCarthy/Besic would be a very solid trio for years to come. Bit miffed by that, cant imagine they got much for him at all, 6 months on his contract i think?Very good signing, wanted us to go for him.

Yes, he was concerned about his playing time and Koeman gave him a week to confirm if he was signing a new contract otherwise they wanted to sell him to atleast get some momey in.Cork/McCarthy/Besic would be a very solid trio for years to come. Saw that, great buy. If Swansea spend all the Bony money as wisely as this signing then they'll have a very good side.Cork gone to Swansea £3m
West Ham will offer Darren Fletcher a three-and-a-half year deal worth £75,000-a-week when the formalities of his move from Manchester United are completed.

I know he had the operation but isn't ulcerative colitus something that can come back at any time even after that?Lot of wedge to pay him. Was a cracking player until that illness and hasn't really hit the same heights which is understandable.

Admire the guy for his dedication in coming back from it but as you say, never been quite the same and that is a long contract at a very wage high wage given the circumstances.
Cuadrado's supposed to be having a medical with the chavs on Saturday, how the hell do the chavs keep getting clubs to pay more for their fringe players than they're worth.
City can't give theirs away Sinclair, Dzeko, Jovetic, Greedybayore to name a few, yet some sucker, sorry club always seems to rock up to pay the chavs a squillon pounds just in time to buy midfielder no 2,800,568.
Speaking of the Van Wolfwinkel effect, you should give the Tiote-Bentley-Rose-Walker Arsenal effect a go. All those tossers have done nowt much in their careers but all of the average effers are known for wonder goals they got against us.
Villa are going to break their nearly 9 hour scoring duck on Sunday at about 2pm. Benteke who hasn't scored since his injury, not to mention spending matches looking uninterested, is going to have a blinder and score against us. Only once since that SOB came to England has he failed to score against us home or away.
Personally think there is something not quite what it seems with these.Cuadrado's supposed to be having a medical with the chavs on Saturday, how the hell do the chavs keep getting clubs to pay more for their fringe players than they're worth.

Admire the guy for his dedication in getting fit enough to play again but as you say, never been quite the same and that is a long contract at a very wage high wage given the circumstances.
Yes I'm pretty sure that it's something that could come back. Fair play to Allardyce though, the fat head has certainly put some effort in to bring a better quality of player to the club since the summer and they've had a decent season so far
Might be that he has stopped asking players to be represented by a specific agent. Apparently/Allegedly. *cough*
