For the record I am a Greggs convert, and that is only because Sayers is not in my walking range.

Still, it's not a bad old place, and they do have some alternatives, should you wish to take a more healthier route, but still keeping the Greggs coffers nice and full for further pastie R&D.
 
Also need to add this.

A lad I work with likes Pasties, and he likes Bread. He couldn't decide what to have so he bought a big Bin Lid and three pasties of various flavours. In they went, and he scoffed them down as one big butty.

Lads nuts.

they eat pastie barms in leigh, i've seen a meat and potato pie go on one as well.
doesn't say much for size though if you can fit it on a barm.

you coudn't fit a tootles pastie on a barm, i got an eccles cake from there the other day as well and it was enormous, his potato cakes are going to be tried as well.

Eccles cake? it's like it's got insects inside it, and as for Potato cakes, think I may wretch.

Give me a sausage roll or a cheese and onion.
 

was in Lidl earlier and next week is 'Greek Week' and they have those cheese 'pasties' that sr. azul reckons are the bee's knees, lets see if he can pass greggs with their chili steak lattice to go down lidl for his new favourites

They're a'ight those chilli steaks. Not particularly hot though.

The prices go up in Greggs on the sly though. I remember when a bean and sausage pastie was only 60p odd, now they're like 80 or 90p!

Wow big arse are you home.......................I've promised to introduce you to 'Simple Simon', the phenomenal pieman at Ormskirk market every Thursday. He makes his own pastys and pies from possibly cats or dogs and they are literally the dogs bollox, one bite and you'll lick your own(y)
